Cinematic Spaces - Concept 2 Development

Thumbnail 84 - 87

This is my progress on my second concept art, I chose this image because I felt I could portray the enormity the environment...I looked into prescriptive from the Mirrors Edge game to help me with this image.

Cinematic Spaces - Cover Art

I used my first concept image as Cover Art for my CD and Case.

I started to think about branding I and thought I could use this image to represent my work

Cinematic Spaces - Thumbnails

Thumbnails 62 - 69

For these thumbnails I decided to focus more on developing previously drawn thumbnails on Photoshop, so I could get used to it.

These thumbnails are also reflective of what I am currently thinking of doing for my Final 3 Images

Image 1

The goal for my first image is to show the beginning of a journey, so peaceful vistas...still waters are the type of thing I'm looking to for, for this particular image.

Image 2

The main purpose of these thumbnails are to show the richness of the environment the story of the Lost Worlds is set in.

Image 3

The third Illustration is meant to convey fear or potential of danger...I'm still thinking of better ways to foreshadow imminent danger.

Photoshop Week 1

For the first lesson on Photoshop, I decided to work on two images from thumbnails I did prior to the lesson (1, 4)

I worked with black and white, and played around with the levels
..then I worked on my first thumbnail idea, I saved it in stages to show the progress

I started playing around with colours at this point, it wasn't the outcome I was expecting....there's a lot going on in this image so I'll be working on it till get the desired effect on a later date.

towards the end of the lesson I started using new techniques to the blend colours together...
